It is the mission of the Employment Coalition of Florida to create successful employment opportunities for individuals with disabilities and/or disadvantages. Each year ECF supports this mission by honoring employers in the community who have opened their doors and have hired and retained individuals with special needs. They are honored by being presented an award at our annual Employer Awards Breakfast. The Breakfast is held during the month of October in observance of Disability Awareness Month. This year’s theme is The Spirit of Success.
ECF, a 501 (c)(3) non-profit organization, works very hard to find suitable employment for individuals with disabilities and/or disadvantages. In order to continue to operate, we are in need of funds. This is our only fundraiser of the year.
We are requesting donations to use as door prizes and/or raffles. We also need items for our “Silent Auction”. The highest bidder, at the event, will “win” the item.
For your tax-deductible donation, you will receive recognition in our printed materials, which are distributed throughout Broward, Dade and Palm Beach County’s (including our website-www.disabilitycoalition.com). With receipt of your donation, you will be mailed a detailed letter regarding the exact time and location of our Third Annual Employer Awards Breakfast. By making your donation today, you will become a partner in our continued efforts to support individuals with special needs.
